Handling referral updates and unresponsiveness
Update as "no longer working with this referral" when the customer is committed elsewhere, asks to unsubscribe, or doesn't meet eligibility requirements. For unresponsive leads, use the "Help with this referral" button within 2-3 days or consider releasing after the 6th day, keeping in mind a 7-day decision window. If initially positive but unresponsive after 7 days, continue nurturing unless certain of no future transaction, allowing flexibility to release at any time for reassignment.
